NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CHURCH PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATORS (NACPA) NAMES TINA KOHRMANN TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Alexandria, Virginia —The National Association of Church Personnel Administrators (NACPA) has named Tina Kohrmann, Director of Human Resources, Diocese of Belleville, to its Board of Directors.

The announcement was made by Elizabeth Allen, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, president of NACPA’s board.

“It’s great to welcome Tina to our leadership team,” said Ms. Allen. “Tina has been an active member of NACPA since she joined the diocese 20 years ago. She has been a presenter in the association’s webinar series and recently served on the NACPA On Demand Committee, giving our members the opportunity to share viewpoints and strategies.”

Dr. Regina Haney, executive director, added, “Tina has been a great supporter of NACPA and is a leader in diocesan Human Resources. We are grateful for her past contributions and know that she will be a strong board member as we work together to promote justice in the workplace.”

Commenting on her position, Ms. Kohrmann said, “I am honored to serve an organization that has been so supportive of diocesan HR professionals for the past 50 years.

“With the ever-evolving world of HR, especially the HR church world, I have encountered many scenarios and challenges. My approach is to gather the necessary information to make an informed position and guide others to the best solution. Using this same process, I feel that I can bring a broad perspective to the board which in turn helps all NACPA members.”

NACPA represents Human Resource Directors, Finance Directors, Chancellors, School Administrators and other Church leaders in arch/dioceses, parishes and religious congregations nationwide and has as its mission "to promote justice in the workplace."  The organization is marking its 50th anniversary.
