NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CHURCH PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATORS (NACPA) NAMES PATRICIA KERNER TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS 

Alexandria, Virginia —The National Association of Church Personnel Administrators (NACPA) has named Patricia Kerner, Director of Human Resources, Diocese of Rockville Centre, Rockville Centre, New York, to its Board of Directors. 

The announcement was made by Elizabeth Allen, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, president of NACPA’s board.

“Patricia is a great addition to our leadership team,” said Ms. Allen. “We’re grateful that Patricia has agreed to serve and also has taken on the additional responsibility as our new treasurer.”

Ms. Allen added that she was thankful for Ms. Kerner’s ongoing service on the association’s finance committee.

Prior to joining the Rockville Centre diocese in 2007, Ms. Kerner worked for several years as a teacher’s aide for the Valley Stream School District 13 in New York.  She previously was Vice President and Director of Human Resources for the Lincoln Savings Bank in New York City for almost 20 years.

“In her position in Rockville Centre, Patricia manages a large staff and is a member of the Bishop’s Management Team. This experience and expertise is a great asset for the NACPA Board,” said Dr. Regina Haney, executive director.

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CHURCH PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATORS (NACPA) NAMES LISA PINTO TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS 
Alexandria, Virginia —The National Association of Church Personnel Administrators (NACPA) has named Lisa Pinto, SPHR, Senior Director of Human Resources, Archdiocese of Miami, to its Board of Directors. 
The announcement was made by Elizabeth Allen, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, president of NACPA’s board.
“Lisa has been an active and influential member of NACPA over the years. We are fortunate to have her join our leadership team,” said Ms. Allen. “During her service to the Archdiocese of Miami, Lisa has the distinction of launching the archdiocesan HR office which now serves 109 parishes and 62 schools and other entities within the archdiocese.”
Ms. Pinto also has overseen major business streamlining, moving from manual paper processes to electronic HR information systems. Prior to joining the archdiocese in 2011, Lisa worked with Catholic social, educational and humanitarian organizations, as well as the news media and publishing.
“Lisa first and foremost considers herself a servant leader who supports NACPA’s goal of being a ‘first-go-to’ resource for Church personnel administrators,” said Dr. Regina Haney, executive director. “Her longtime support for the association’s mission makes her an ideal choice for this board position.”

NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF CHURCH PERSONNEL ADMINISTRATORS (NACPA) NAMES ROB REID TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS 

Alexandria, Virginia —The National Association of Church Personnel Administrators (NACPA) has named Rob Reid, Director of Human Resources, Archdiocese of Cincinnati, to its Board of Directors. 

The announcement was made by Elizabeth Allen, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, president of NACPA’s board.

“We’re grateful that Rob has become a member of our leadership team,” said Ms. Allen. “Rob brings both the diocesan perspective to our mission to promote justice in the workplace, along with his expertise as an lawyer.”

Prior to joining the archdiocese in 2013, Mr. Reid worked as an attorney in the private practice of labor and employment law for 20 years. During this time he frequently represented the archdiocese in employment law matters. 

“Rob is an avid believer in the pivotal role that Human Resources plays in an organization,” said Dr. Regina Haney, executive director. “He has been a great supporter of NACPA and generously added his insights on employment law to our webinar on ‘Returning to the Workplace.’”
