NACPA Responds to August 2019 Tragedies

NACPA joins individuals and organizations in the U.S. and worldwide in reaching out with compassion and prayers for the victims and the families and friends of those lost and wounded in Texas and Ohio August 3 and 4.

Bishop Michael Burbidge, Bishop of the Diocese of Arlington, Virginia where NACPA is based, tweeted this: “Tragically, horrific shootings and violence continue in this country. May we be united in our prayers for all victims and their families.”

Pittsburgh Bishop David Zubik, who served for 16 years as the association’s Episcopal Liaison, said that our prayers must “also lead us to actions that will address the complex causes of these crimes.”
